Arco Cego Apartment

Right in the center of Lisbon, this apartment required complete rehabilitation and modernization of infrastructure and functionality. The main goal was to preserve the architectural features while enhancing the wood and natural light. A coherent palette of colors and materials links the different divisions.

The old kitchen was disjointed, with added furniture from different periods. Old pieces needing restoration and an angular layout limited the intervention. An old cupboard, chimney, and formica table were restored. The bathrooms were completely revamped, using traditional Viúva Lamego-type tiles in blue tones in the main bathroom and green in the secondary and the secondary bathroom was redesigned to create more space. The contrast between colors adds liveliness and originality to the space.
