Passion for Interior Design

Creating architecture that pauses and inspires, Bárbara Linhares is 33 years old and originally from Rio de Janeiro, where she lived for 30 years before falling in love with Lisbon. She began her professional journey in the city in 2021, bringing a fresh and innovative perspective to the local architectural scene.

Professional Background

Specializing in Interior Design, Bárbara worked throughout her college years in studios focused on renovating houses and apartments. She also spent 3 years on the Rede Globo set design team in Rio de Janeiro, contributing to numerous soap opera sets before moving to Lisbon. In 2023, she joined Architect Your Home, where she continues to develop her passion.

Design Philosophy

Creating architecture that pauses and inspires is the core of Bárbara’s approach. She believes architecture represents a gentle and curious break from routine, founded on analysing, preserving, and re-signifying spaces, drives her to deliver projects that innovate and provide clients with unique experiences, reflecting her belief that “From a stroke, architecture is born.”
