Atelier 72

Ana and Hugo have been collaborating since 2014 under the name Atelier 72 – Architecture. Their shared commitment to the rehabilitation of existing structures and understanding of their architectural origins drives their practice. They aim to adapt these structures to today’s needs with technical precision and aesthetic sensitivity, always honouring history through design.

Experience and Approach

With over ten years of experience in architectural projects across various sectors—including adaptive reuse, housing, services, and public facilities—the duo emphasises technical detail, budget accuracy, and innovation. Their design process seeks to balance memory and function to create relevant and lasting spaces.
