Early Life and Education

Ivone was born in Lisbon and graduated in Architecture from the Universidade Técnica de Lisboa in 1987. Shortly after graduation, she interned and worked in several architectural offices, gaining valuable experience. Committed to excellence driven by collaboration, she always sought to deepen her skills and understanding through teamwork and shared expertise.

Career at JSTC / Opera Design Matters

In 1995, she joined the JSTC office, later renamed Opera Design Matters, where she developed her work for 22 years. During this time, she coordinated teams both in production and in the multidisciplinary collaboration between various technical departments required for project execution and completion. Committed to excellence driven by collaboration, Ivone consistently fostered an environment where collective effort led to outstanding architectural outcomes.

Large-Scale Projects and International Experience

Ivone has contributed to large-scale projects in Portugal, Angola, and Mozambique, spanning both public and private sectors.

New Partnership and Continued Growth

In 2017, she partnered with Lines & Narratives to embrace a new challenge and continue her professional journey. Her portfolio covers a broad range of projects including rehabilitation, hospitality and tourism, health facilities, public buildings, services, and housing.
