Background and Experience

Creating authentic spaces that connect, Rosário Fragoso Alas, a Portuguese architect graduated in South Africa, has more than 25 years of experience working both abroad and in Portugal. Currently based in Cascais, she develops her work as an interior designer and decorator for national and international clients.

Professional Journey

Her first steps in architecture were taken in Johannesburg, then continued in Portugal across Porto, Algarve, and for the last 13 years in Lisbon. There, she leads her studio, ARQ1:1, where she creates projects for private and business clients with a personalized approach focused on the specific needs of each client.
